Anne Jones

Anne joined Goodwin Financial Recruitment as a consultant after 8 years working as an accountant with the Adtrans Group in the fast paced automotive dealership industry. Starting as a trainee accountant, she was rapidly promoted through this ASX listed company to the unique dual role of Dealership Accountant and Marketing Manager. Anne’s experiences in these roles has ensured that she has an innovative and creative approach.

Originally from the UK, Anne immigrated to Adelaide with her Australian husband in 2004 and eagerly adopted the South Australian lifestyle.

Anne’s high work ethic and organisational zeal enabled her to balance her dual role with the Adtrans Group with her University studies to successfully gain a Bachelor of Accounting Degree. Her passion for lifelong learning sees her looking towards her next goal of gaining a professional accounting membership.

As a Dealership Accountant, Anne successfully recruited and developed a winning accounting and administration team. Her team included assistant and trainee accountants, plus support roles of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll administrators and administration clerks.

Anne’s own career progression and experience recruiting and mentoring her team has equipped her with a firsthand knowledge and understanding of the roles that make up a business’s accounting function, as well as an appreciation of how important it is to match the right person to roles recruited.
